Attack of the
Caucuses

One of the biggest
pieces of who is
elected to various
offices is how we
select who gets on the
ballot.  Visit the
articles page to find an
exclusive commentary
on why caucuses are
bad for voters, and
why we need them
anyway.

Washington is a state
where independent
candidates could be
elected and make a
difference, but only if
we give them the ballot
access to do so.
Check out the
articles
to find out how we can
give independent and
small party candidates
ballot access, while
giving the major party
candidates (which
does include the
Libertarians) their
constitutional right to
choose their own
candidates.

Campaign 2008 is underway!
Governor Gregoire is quietly running for reelection, while
Dino Rossi has ended his 3 years of quiet.  If there will be
much of a difference between them will be seen in the next
few months.  There will be petitions going around soon for
a "Death with Dignity" initiative, as well as another Eyman
campaign.  Find the latest info for this year's elections on
our
news page, and then come back to discuss it all in our
